A Holy Nation, pt 1

From the earliest moments of His ministry, Jesus echoes the message of John the Baptist, announcing that the kingdom of God is near. The kingdom arrived with power on the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the apostles, and Peter declared Jesus risen from the dead. The church is the kingdom of God.
