Interpreting the Bible challenges all of us. The Bible is a big book and parts of it are hard to understand. The quality of the tools and techniques we use to interpret the Bible will impact how well we understand and apply it. Jesus and His apostles and prophets used three techniques of interpretation:

1. Command
2. Example
3. Inference.

These three simple tools form a solid foundation for properly understanding Scripture.
